The Island of the Dolls :
Sailing to Mexico to find a particularly murky atmosphere, the Island of the Dolls. Located in a swampy area south of Mexico City, the island boasts a nightmarish scene: thousands of dolls charred by the time hang everywhere on the island.
According to legend, a man living as a hermit in the 50s on this deserted island has decided to collect and cling to the trees on the island of dolls to appease the ghost of a girl who would be drowned in a canal bordering the island.
The island became a "pull" from the 90s, and although she is not on tour guides, some amateurs do not hesitate to go there by the lagoon with boats. The man who had the idea to hang these dolls being dead, it was his son and grand-son who took over the trade by charging an entrance fee of 4 pesos to allow a tour of the premises. The experience is particularly significant to believe those who visited this island decor as terrifying and absurd.
